Recently, SoundCloud changed its policies and now SoundCloud is working as other digital stores. Which means that, each time that the artist makes an upload on our platform and selects the SoundCloud store, an album will be automatically created on the artist’s profile on that store.
Normally, SoundCloud has the policy of substituting one album for the other one if the albums were exactly equal. On that case, we have two options:
1. Wait for the albums to be merged; (when they have the same ISRC)
2. Delete the content that was already published by the artist.
We can also request the takedown of the album created on our platforms, but by doing that, the artist loses the option to monetize the content.
